At Beth Israel Messianic Synagogue, we have a special Kol Nidre tradition - Eric Painter, our worship leader, has written new musical arrangements for the Kol Nidre melody each year. This year, Kol Nidre was played by string-duet, accompanied by piano. Daniel Belousov, a senior and first chair violinist at Douglas Anderson School of the Performing Arts, plays the violin. Brittany Maroney, playing cello, is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a degree in Music Performance, and she currently teaches with the Flagler Youth Orchestra and the Cathedral Arts Project. Eric accompanies them on the piano.
